The Art of Making a Book

I’ve seen and read so many books that I sometimes find myself taking for granted the amazing thing that a book is itself. Think about it – hundreds of pages of someone thoughts, woven into a linear fashion, printed and bound with materials made from a tree, and then placed upon a shelf for another person to pick up and read.

In today’s world, books are created at high speed through the use of machines that churns hundreds of printed pages out every hour, but not so long ago, books took a little more time to make  – just watch and take a look at “The Art of Making a Book.”

    1. I think that’s great! I recently took a journal-making class that showed you how to make small journals from paper and cardboard. Really not the best for writing in, but they were great for scrap-booking.
